Do I pay before seeing anything?+

No. You create one character and story-page preview first. No card is needed for that step.

Will the character actually look like them?+

You see the full-body character on its own before the story pages. Compare the face, hair, skin tone and expression, then approve it or request one change.

Can I write my own story idea?+

Yes. Choose “My idea” and describe what should happen. A single clear sentence is enough.

Who can the books be made for?+

Anyone. Choose a reading level from ages 3–5 through to adult, and we adjust the words, tone and story detail.

Can I add a gift message?+

Yes. At checkout you can add an optional “Gifted from” page and a short message at no extra cost.

Is checkout live yet?+

Not yet. The current payment screen is a clearly labelled test and cannot charge a card.
